Both of our children attended neighborhood schools in the Sacramento City Unified School District, and my daughter Meredith is currently enrolled in the district's special education program. Our family has a heartfelt appreciation for the benefits of special education. I will bring that perspective as well as the interests of all Sacramento County public school children to the
