About Greg:

Greg Geeting has more than 30 years’ experience working with education policy and finance for the benefit of California’s teachers, students and families. Recently retired, his management positions included Executive Director of the State Board of Education, and Interim Director of the Department of Education’s Charter Schools Division.

Greg’s experience as an education expert, parent and “customer” of Sacramento’s public education system will make him a compassionate and responsive member of the Sacramento County Board of Education.

Greg and his wife Glee live in Curtis Park.
